Ipsilateral brain deactivation specific to the nondominant hand during simple finger movements

Independent of handness, their data showed a deactivation at ipsilateral primary motor cortex corresponding to finger movement of nondominant hand, which was not seen for dominant hand. The pattern suggested functional asymmetry of motor cortices on two hemispheres. An interesting topic would be to look into how this asymmetry is related to previous hand-using experience.
