I would be interested to know the reason for the negative votes? As a layman I find this correlation and prediction reasonably interesting. If there are issues with the article/analysis/methods/conclusion and the 'big picture', a constructive criticism is welcome. Mere negative votes does not serve any fruitful purpose in enhancing our appreciation for science in general! In fact, I feel the voting should be allowed only with valid comments/suggestions.
