A remarkable paper in the area of stem cell biology. It has been proposed that a decline in stem cell function contribute to tissue ageing. However, the underlying mechanism is poorly understood until this paper wherein for the first time authors identified a novel mechanistic link between the control of stem cell polarity and the age-related decline in tissue regenerative capacity. - Comment on this subject: 0 comments made
